Cylinder connectors are used for connecting various items of gas handling apparatus (such as pressure regulators or pigtails) directly to a high pressure gas cylinder. The actual connection varies depending on the gas in the cylinder and is designated by a code (BS, DIN, or CGA Connection Number) as set forth in BS341, DIN 477, or CGA V-1.
Cylinder connectors consist of a nut and nipple and in some cases require a washer for sealing purposes. Refer to technical information section for connection type details.
